Call For Submissions for Lee Carroll's and Jan Tober's Indigo Book III

Lee Carroll and Jan Tober, authors of the original The Indigo Children book by Hay House, are calling for submissions for their third Indigo Book.

In 1999 The Indigo Children book went mainstream, and is now in over 25 languages worldwide and has sold over 500,000 copies. It set the stage for all you are now seeing in the subject of our changing kids, and introduced the earth to the term "Indigo Children." Now, after 7 years, these authors wish to present an update and address the now pre-teen and teen-age Indigo Children. The working title of the book is The Indigo Children - Seven Years Later.

This new book wishes to set the record straight on what Indigos really are (a return to what was originally presented), and demystify the unfortunate current publicity that pigeon-holes them into a category of weird physic kids with purple auras and special powers. The subject of our changing children is main-stream and needs to remain there if we are really going to help these children of a remarkable new consciousness, who represent most of the children being born today.

The intent of the book therefore is to present qualified, credentialed individuals who can write succinctly on any protocols they have found to help these children, their parents, and educators, who are faced with a generation of seemingly unmanageable children.

Any submissions used in the new book will not generate any remuneration or royalties, but will clearly publish any emails, websites, or addresses where readers can contact the contributing authors. If the first book is any indicator, there will be a great of interest and correspondence created for each contributing author.

Rules of submission:
Remember:  "Qualified and credentialed." You may have lots of experience, but this time around, Lee and Jan wish to try and feature those who have letters after their names. This goes a long way to help keep it credible to main-stream. If you don't, but you have had years of direct experience helping Indigos, parents of Indigos, or teachers, then please submit. Also... if you are under 20 and feel you are an Indigo, do you have something to say to help parents to know what to do with you?

  • Length: Any length is acceptable, short or long.

  • Submit a standard Microsoft Word document in .rtf form to: indigosubmission@indigochild.com

  • Attach the document file as an "attachment" to the email

  • Important: In the subject line, put INDIGO SUBMISSION

  • All submissions will remain confidential and will not be published anywhere else

  • No submissions will be returned

  • If any submission needs to be edited for length, you will be consulted

  • If yours is chosen for the book, you will be informed and a permission form will be sent to you for your signature

What is an Indigo?

For those of you who are new to this concept of “Indigo Children”, the term Indigo was brought to light when a book written by Jan Tober and Lee Carol entitled “Indigo Children” was published in 1992. Indigo children are said to be highly intuitive, in fact they are often referred to as psychic children, however they are so much more. Although much of the information available about “indigo” children is fairly consistent, people’s personal definitions of this concept vary widely. For this reason, we would like to share our definition of this term as it is used throughout this site.

Most people who have worked with children in a professional setting or have children of their own, have noticed a certain group of characteristics which seem to display together in some children. Some of these characteristics include: creativity, high energy, hypoglycemia, nonconforming behaviors, physical and emotional sensitivity, and intuitive nature. When we refer to the term “indigo”, we are referring to the children and adults who have these characteristics.
